pruning dead branches without merge

Nathan Wolek-2
If we find a dead branch that should NOT be merged back to master, how should that be noted? I want to make sure no one comes in behind me and attempts to merge or pull this. Here is an example:

Active, but very stale branch:

Closed issue:

If you own the branch then feel free to delete it on Github by clicking the little "trash can" icon next to the branch name @ e.g. https://github.com/jamoma/JamomaCore/branches

If you are pretty sure it should be deleted but you don't fully own the work then I'd recommend opening an issue for it so that it can be discussed prior to deleting.

best,

Tim
