Panel

Ricardo
This post was updated on .
Hello,

Is there anyway that I can remotely access the panel of "view". I have a "view" where I would like bring up the panel by hitting a button on my  midi-controler. I cant seem to find out if this is possible. I mean, I can make a solution, but is there a generic built in message?

Hi Ricardo !

I have just checked, but it seems there no such possibility yet. Théo has to confirm it, though…

Now, if we wanted to have this working, we should probably discuss how this should be designed. So, I’ll create a discussion about this on the devel list…

Cheers !

Of course you can always work this around by creating a j.message open_view (or whatever) @type none
and access it with a j.send
as demonstrated below:

Hi guys,

Just to let you know I documented this (dev branch) as a Max vignette. When bringing Max (7) doc browser, it should appear under a Jamoma/guide section.

Hi Ricardo !

I have just checked, but it seems there no such possibility yet. Théo has to confirm it, though…

Now, if we wanted to have this working, we should probably discuss how this should be designed. So, I’ll create a discussion about this on the devel list…

Cheers !

Hi guys,

Just to let you know I documented this (dev branch) as a Max vignette. When bringing Max (7) doc browser, it should appear under a Jamoma/guide section.

Best,

sorry for the delay on this topic.

yes ! it is possible if you register the view into the namespace passing a second argument to the view bpatcher to give it a name.
